Ok I just got finished putting in my new tranny and shifter the other day and I was just curious to know if these new parts are suppose to have any kind of breakin time? The reason why I am asking is because when I shift gears sometimes it feels kinda tight. Maybe I am just use to the old stock shifter and trans that had 160xxx miles on them. By the way the tranny is just a rebuilt one, built to factory specs. I am just curious thats all, but the new setup feels wonderful and I am glad I did what I did. I just though that it would be alittle smoother when I shifted gears instead of me having to put the same effort that I did when I had the stock shifter. Please let me know your inputs. I have never had a short throw before or a new tranny in anything for that matter so maybe it is just me
