My car does sit on 100% factory suspension. The rear tire is 28.3" tall compared to the 27.2" OEM tire, so yes it did lift the rear about .5"(difference in tire height/2). I didn't measure, but it appears I have close to 2" of clearance between the tire and the shock. I imagine with the right backspacing(mine are 7.27")you could fit an 11 or 12 on there, but more than likely will stick out.

Very nice!

I got to ask, did you paint the front grill or is that a replacement that I haven't seen yet?

That is the factory grill painted. I saw anthony05gt had his like that and asked him. It has been done since late last year and have only had to touch it up once(not bad considering all the highway miles I drive:D I'd love to get the new Bullitt grill(fog and ponyless)and do the same thing to it then attatch a running pony on the driver side:nice:

I think he has a couple different grills that he swaps out when he changes his badges and his pants.
:rlaugh: Yeah, I've been known to change my pants every few months...

Dawg - you know I only tease ya' cause I like ya' and I can get away with it, Right?
Absolutely:D :nice: I find I get a good chuckle out of them as Marine One did.

Here is a '67 GT with the plain spinner cap.

Would be cool to find these and maybe in blue even.

It's not a spinner cap, but they do make the pony on blue.

Update:

Just got around to taking some pics with a yard stick to see just how far the tires sit.
I took pics of all 4 corners, but these were the only 2 that came out good.

Absolutely no tire rub. The thing I have noticed is that on wet roads, I spin very easily off a dead start:shrug: They have almost 1000 miles on them now so they should have all the oil residue worn off from manufacturing. Haven't tested the extremes, but there are several on/off ramps I can take at higher speeds without upsetting the car or having the tires talk back:nice: The wider front tires definitely like to follow all the road imperfections much more so than the 235s, but I'm used to that after owning two 4x4s with wide tires/wheels.

Not to mention after four tank fulls I've picked up nearly 1.5 MPG due to the reduction of my RPMs. They've dropped 200-300 RPM. I can now cruise 85 @ 3000 RPM:nice:
