This is my first post, i have been on the mustang scene since i was 15. Still have my first car. 1964 1/2 mustang coupe. It is basically a restored stock car, with a drag motor. Makes little since but i always thought it was cool. New engine in the process. 347 with a 4340 rpm international bottom end with ross pistons. Going with AFR 205's and somewhere in the neighborhood of a 630 lift solid roller. my last motor was a scat 347 4340 bottom end motor, with dart heads and a 610 lift solid roller. Ran pretty good up until i got married and bought a house and all that a few years ago and had to sell it to buy a few things. Looking foward to making some new contacts and chatting with those online

Welcome to the madness; pull up a lawn chair and dangle your feet in The Gutter. There's a bunch of Classic Stang fanatics (and at least one Cougar owner) that call this place home.

Don't know how familiar you are with standard Mustang antics; but you would do well to be prepared for just about anything over here in Classics Talk. It won't be long before you've been thread-jacked, and you only get this one initial post talking about your car before you're gonna get hit with:

Just so you know.

BTW, when you have time you might 'flesh out' your profile a bit; so the rest of us know a little bit about you. For instance I see in your "mini-profile" (upper right-hand corner of your first post) that you're in NC. This grabbed my attention because my daughter and son-in-law (cowgirl tink and SVTCobra306 when they show up here) live in FayetteNam. Depending on your other internet haunts; you may have come across son-in-law AJ as SVTCobra347 on HPJ.

Anyway, Welcome Welcome! And if you're gonna tell us more about the 64-1/2 - 65; ya gotta have pics!

still fitting the bed to the frame. I have a few other small projects to finish up before I get cracking on it again.
I did pick up a set of poly bushings for the front end. Just need to get some shocks and the suspension should be ready for rebuild.

I did pick up a plasma cutter a few months ago. It will make channeling the cab a bit easier. I am going to raise the floor boards about 3 inches. It should allow the frame to sit within the body, so it will not poke out from underneath.
