Everyone I am a newbie here! My name is Eric I hail from Salem N.H. I own and opperate a 88 GT. In all actuallity it owns me, starting with my wallet then my bank account. I am 20yrs old. I've had my GT since the 8th grade. It used to be a stock low 14sec car. Up until this past winter I've gone deeper. Cars converted to MAF. I run a DSS pro bullet 306. I have a set of AFR 165s out of the box. Cam was helped out by a good friend Ed. Pro Products intake with mild porting, 70mm tb also 73mm c&l. I've done a tiny bit of research on my car. Turns out if it were to be its stock Cabernet color with scarlet red interior, it would be 1 of 1,971 GTs made that year with the solid Cabernet exterior and scarlet red interior. Owner before me painted it bright red, and since then I have had it re-done once before. Car is still on the road today. I am having a hard time putting it away this winter. With the new power I just can't get away from it. I have a good amount to do this winter though. With the new combo the clutch doesn't like to hold anymore, learned that hard at the track with a 1st pass of 13.600 at 101. Then a 2nd pass at 14.5 at 96. On deck for this winter will be a Spec stage 2 clutch anc flywheel set up. New gear set also. Need to figure out an exhaust. Also have a tuner to start playing with. I want to come out in the spring with a pass in the 12s. Then I can work at it durning the season. Look forward to talkin to all of you on this site!

Glad to have another Stang lover on board. Do you belong to any clubs? How did you hear about the site?

I kinda fell upon it a few years ago. I didn't sign on the board till now. I used to come here for info and stuff. I love this board so far. Much better than others i've been on. Plus there are alot of big time racers on here! I like that :nice:
