One last thing for today-

Here is why I follow LMR on YouTube. They do a great job producing what Fox guys need to keep these cars on the road. When they recently posted about their new firewall/clutch cable reinforcement bracket, I immediately checked my car, and sure enough, my firewall was cracked. I never knew this was even a thing on these cars. I have their reinforcement kit now and will be installing it before the engine goes back in.

There is a set of dowels that has a locking set screw to lock them in... Been a few minutes but I remember reading about them with dialing in my Bell...

That stinks about the fuel rails.

I was going to suggest denting the out of it but that looks like a [lot] of room to make up where that vacuum boss is.

Nice pics & observations. sucks about the firewall, but glad you found it. I better go check my junk. Pretty confident in the nice cars, but wouldn't be too surprised to find it in my daily.

Can't use a combo of some grinder work and a small phenolic spacer?
