I was wondering where do i get the teflon paste to put on the connections for the nitrous lines? I have the zex kit, any tips on the install? Where did u mount your box under the hood? Is the teflon paste absolutely necessary?

One last question, can i just drill into the trunk? How did you guys mount your bottle?

thanks!

Teflon- Lowes, Home Depot, Kragen, Pep Boys will have it. I think you need to use the teflon tape and it needs to be the yellow stuff. As for the other questions someone else will have to take on those. Never installed NAWS :D on a Stang.

DO NOT USE TEFLON TAPE AT ALL. I know you're using a Zex kit which is a dry set up but it can still clog up your system and you'll run too rich which means crap performance. Use teflon paste if anything. Nitrous fittings are AN, meaning they seal themselves with the nipple on the male fittings and the concave piece inside the female. I work on helicopters and I've seen plenty of AN lines hold up to pressure with out any paste. I don't use it on my kit. After you hook it all up, open the bottle and listen for leaks. Tighten as required. If it doesn't stop, look in to paste....
