nitrous questions

i want to put nitrous on my car and i need to know how much would be safe for me to spray. what kit is best. what do i have to do to my car to make it safe to run

I have a zex wet kit, running 75 shot .. it runs safe on stock timing and what not.. when I got my dyno I made sure to check for bad a/f...

The max I would go on my 96 gt is 100shot.. over that and I think it'd be really pushing it.. to much wear on the internals.


when i bought the zex, i noticed in the kit, the purple box takes care of a lot of the stuff that you'd have to do in the NOS setup.. aswell as if there isnt enough fuel or nitrous, it just won't spray... which is kinda a nice safety feature. i love my zex kit :x

I plan on using the NX PLate kit. Best kit out there for design on these cars. I wouldnt go over a 75-100 shot with upgraded fuel pump and injectors.

what fuel pump and injectors should i get. and i got a chip on the car that fixes the spedo because of my gears and i guess it ups the timing too. should i ditch that and just get a speedo gear.

Focus or avaitor pump
30 or 42 lb injectors
Get a SCT tune, forget about the chip.

What makes the plate kit any better than the sindle nozzle kit? Also why would you need bigger injectors with a wet kit?
