I have a 03 Gt. I can't afford to blow $3,000-$5,000 on a supercharger and was thinking about doing nitrous. I drive my car maybe 5k miles a year and next year i'll be at college so the stang will be in the garage. As you can see my cars not really a daily driver. I was looking at a few kits such as the Edelbrock and the NOS kit as well as the Grant? wet system. What kit did you chose? Wet or Dry?
I race rarely at stop lights. Only on occasion some *** in an import with a fart cannon or something, so spray would be a perfect substitute for a supercharger (and yes I would get a KB...lets not start that thread)
I work part time as an aircraft mechanics assistant so I don't think I'd have too much trouble with the install. Or will I? Anything else I should know? Do I also need a purge kit or bottle heater? Opinions please!
