Hey i got my tires on now and i was wondering if you guys have any recommendations about them. Like tire pressure(street/track), or how long you have had them on. I put them on my everyday wheel but now im wondering if i should have put them on my stock rim and use it for just a track tire. Anythin else i should know?

I have gotten the best 60' when I had the dr's at 18 psi. However, it did start to hurt my mph, so I would start with 22psi and work your way down until you find a good balance between launch traction and maintaining a decent mph.

I run mine all the time, and I have about 15k miles or so on them. The dr's are pretty wore down, but I still will probably get another month or two on them this spring. They definitely hook better as they age, and from my experience they hook better on the street than at the track. To get the most traction out of them you'll need to do a pretty serious burnout and try to not let them get cold between passes.

i thought you were only supposed to do a quick burnout just to get dirt n stuff off of them?

That is for regular street tires. The compound in dr's is much softer, so it benfits from doing a burnout. I'm not saying sit there for 15 seconds burning away money, but at least get some smoke to appear.

I ran my DR's at 15 psi at the track, and they hooked decently. I never did a long burn out, just enough to clean them up a little bit. I was pulling 1.8 60 foots which isn't bad for a stock mustang with DRs.

I could run mine at 30 on the track... I did about a 5 second burnout, just enought to see smoke, never had a problem with spin.

I run 28psi on the street and 21psi at the track. I don't do a smokey burnout but get them going a bit. I launched at 3000 rpm with a blower and is stuck. Actually it bit to well because it bogged.
