NITTO Drag Radials!!!

I like my 245/50/16's...they solved my 60mph traction problem:nice:

They sure don't get to many miles out of them...but I drive semi-aggressive...I've gotten about 7k out of them so far...I got a few thousand left in them...but they are well worth it for the traction...and for a daily driver.

I used to run the 245-50-16 nittos and managed a best of 1.70 on them. They are not "night and day" for the novice but with some practice they will be! :nice:

yeah listen to this guy :D

I ran at the track last yr on street tires ( Crap Kumo's) and was cutting 2.4's 2.6's

I went to the track just recently w/ my Nittos and cut two 2.1's and one 2.2 and Im by no means experienced at the track. Nittos are very well capable of cutting 1.XX's ( sub 2.0's )

I just put em on last week and hit the test n tune last Weds. Previously w/street tires i was running 9.1-9.3's and after install of the 275/40-17's I was rewarded with a 9.05 9.06 and 9.07 w/a best of 2.06 60' time. I know the car is capable of an 8.8-8.9 and sub 60' times but it will take a little practice.
**After watching vid's of track night I just learned that my traction loc is toast and i was only spinning one tire. This prob hurt my time. Let me rebuild the traction loc and I'll update w/better times.**

I like em. Just make sure and roast em for at least 10 secs to get them nice and hot before you launch on them. And make sure and lower the tire pressure to about 17-18lbs give or take. I was able to cut 2.08 60's with a stock AODE. I thought it was pretty good for my mods. (stock intake and MAF at the time) But I'm hoping to do even better on sat.
