Which tire to buy? Im looking for really fat 315x17x40 for the rear to fit on my 10.5in rims. I want super sticky and be good in the rain. Oh and cost is a big factor.

Which tire would you buy?

None of those will be good in the rain, except maybe the Yokos.
You need to look at 315/35, not 315/40.
The Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 is an excellent wet performer, as well as dry, low noise, excellent wear, etc. But they are $284 each through www.discounttiredirect.com
If you take the 'good in the rain' out of your request, I'd just go with Nitto DRs.

Go to tirerack.com they had a sale on 315/35 17 BFGs for 150 a piece. I have the bfgs and have had nittos and would rather run the bfgs. Hopefully they still have there sale thats an awesome price.

I have heard that the BFG's are alot wider then the nitto's and the nitto's barely fit my car. I would do some reasearch to confirm they will fit.
