nittos drag tires

I think a lot of it must fall down to skill because we all know there's guys running 8 seconds on drag radials.

Maybe with M/T's, but not with Nitto's.
I wonder what the fastest time is with a set of Nitto's ?

Theres a HUGE difference between those DR cars and the street cars with Nittos... I've never driven a Drag radial car (I wouldnt mind trying it out) so I cant really comment, but Im willing to bet its a lot to do with the chassis...

x2. Those DR cars are set up and every ascpect of the car is tuned for those tires.

Nittos...World Record for BFG's is 0-178MPH in 7.9 seconds...

I typically got around 11-12,000 miles on Nittos.

Bad in the rain; decent on dry pavement.

Nitto's are GREAT in the rain! WTF r u talking about?

I've only had BFGs and ET Streets (NOT the radials) in the rain. The BFGs were fine on my 100+ mile trip. The ET Streets were just a short drive and I didnt do Anything to test how well they worked. Just went slow with them.
