So as I was trying and trying and trying to BUY a MACH 1 it seemed like there was none for ME........or was already SOLD , so I came acrosss this nice 2001 Corvette Coupe AUTO w/11000 miles only, Black on Black w/upgrades. Has better perform. Intake and Exhaust.....nearing 400 HP, and only paid $27.500 , so let me know IF I MADE A GOOD DESICION OR NOT ?????

Sorry OX MOX couldn`t find the right MACH.............Still have the V6 though

Nothing wrong with Vettes.. I happen to like the 1980-1982. They are weak and gutless those years, but I really like the curvy bodystyle. If I had the money, I'd get one of those '80's Vettes, then stuff a modern 400hp engine into it. As for yours, a modern Vette with good miles for under 30 grand.. yeah, sounds like a good deal to me!

Sounds like you did good to me. Personally, I don't like GM products, but the Corvette is the exception. It's their icon, so they put a lot into that car.
I also like the fixed lights on the new 'vettes, but the rest of the body just looks goofy. The C5 is much sleeker.

I know it would be a ride, but the lot that I just bought my 2004 V-6 has 2 Mach 1's, one is white the other is orange. They also had a black 2000 Cobra, but there was a guy buying that one when I was writing up the paper work on mine.

I'd look for an apartment with a garage.. just the thought of that bad boy out in the open makes me nervous, and it isn't even mine! I'm moving to an apartment this summer with an attached one car garage; it'll cost me about $150 more per month, but it's worth it in my opinion.

Congrats on your purchase. I have my newly purchased '06 California Edition Mustang and a '92 LT1 polo green with a 6 speed. It's kind of fun owning two true American icons.

The only problem I have with my Corvette is the "Corvette tax". I swear, parts are about twice as expensive. The one saving grace is if you can do some of your own work. At least the Mustang is new and has a 3 year, 36K waranty. Good luck with your rides....

The Price difference is not by Much and the Z06 has only 35 more HP(stock 385 vs 350 on the coupe).......either way SWEET Rides

I believe that`s the Z51 package you are reffering to, those are better. Z06 is less than the Z51.......
