True dat, It is just an upgrade PACKAGE(standard on the Z06 I think)-Brakes,Tires, Oil cooler,stiffer susp.etc., in 2001 the Z06 had only 385HP.......02-03 got more 405HP, So yes you are right it did have 405HP in 03,
as for the BLOWER-I don`t think I need it for now(Can`t even calm it the way it is -400HP w/the mods) so maybe in the near Future.

Very nice vette...and great price.

BTW the 06 Z06 is the one with 505 HP at the CRANK. 45XRWHP to the tires....3100#s FAST.

But it traps nearly 10MPH less than the ford GT that everyone compares it to, since the GT has "only" 45 more hp. Close race right? No, the GT is underrated and actually puts down 550RWHP. (before anything starts haha)

True that, But the PRICE difference is TWO(maybe 3) VETTES=ONE GT

Very nice, B52! How do you like it? I also have a vette ('75) and I've never driven it and it's slow as hell (165 hp ) but hopefully a new engine in her this summer will give her 350-500hp Check her out :www.cardomain.com/id/zincyellow

Anyone else have vettes out there? I know Matt's (TMX) got an '80(or '81) vette.

Thanx zincyellow03, I love it-and who wouldn`t pumping close to 400HP, 350HP stock, lots of options added-memory for 3 drivers,Heads Up Display,tire press. sensors......lots of extra things that I didn`t get on My MUSTANG all in all very NICE, don`t regret this Purchase at ALL,
By the way yours looks very nice too-as you said not too much power but still-STINGRAY.........

I saw a Stingray at the track last night that was absolutely orgasmic. The roaring sound of the big block and no mufflers was just to die for...or maybe to live for lol. It ran 8.6 seconds on the 1/4 mile.

Awesome car man!! I love 'vettes. So what if they're GM, they'll still kick a lot of Mustang ass right out of the box, with exception to 03/04 Cobra and new GT500 .. Please don't quote me on that haha

You've got teh LS1, it can nevah lose! Awesome motor, very mod-friendly.

Congrats man.. maybe one day i'll have a 'Vette

Yup, it's a stingray...new engine this summer that will hopefully make it live up to the corvette name

...funny-the other day I was coming back from the DMV and on a busy street no STOP signs......I pulled up for a left turn on one side and the other was a COBRA(RED)also left turn......so many cars you couldn`t turn for about 10 mins. So I flashed the COBRA and SPINNED the wheels and smoke started coming out and everybody stopped so we Both went at the same time as I stepped on it and twisted the Rear to -right-left-right and drifted away.......
