No more 2004 Cobras!

Heard from the SVT Advisor over on SVTPerformance.com that the production run for the 2004 Cobra is finished. I guess they made a LOT LESS '04's than '03's. Sure hope there weren't any people still holding out for $2500 rebates like they had on the '03's!

Yeah the first of March was the last day you could order one.

So I would imagine they are stopping production here shortly.

I would think that those with the 04s might have a rare car, but I highly doubt they will hold their value any better than the 03s.

Whoa.

Holy 03-04 cobra resale value =o)
I can see it now.......our cars selling for 23k 4 years from now =o)
Mustangs have always resold high anyway so we should be in good shape (especially considering what I paid for it).

I know a lot of people who were planning on buying a new 04 later in the year.
I hope Ford has something badass (and not obscenely expensive) when I wear this baby out sometime around 06.
4900 miles and counting....

BTW.....I'll have that MGW handle UPS today. It better kick ass!
I changed CD's today with my knuckle shifting hard into 3rd with that pro 5.0 handle.

When did they have $2500.00 on 03s. I bought mine in last month and only got $1500.00

I bought mine 3 or 4 months ago.

Sticker was $35,900 (sonic blue hardtop, chrome rims)

A-plan was roughly 31,500 (gotta love tha a-plan connection
Stacked A plan with $2500+500 rebate.

Total price?
$28,300 !

Threw another $7500 down so I'm nowhere near upside down =o)

I was quoted a price of of $28,500 last sept./oct. . But they wouldn't give me anything for a trade-in so i decided to wait for the '06. I'll have my truck paid off by then and will sell mine on the personal market to some one who knows how i baby this thing. Hopefully for more than $6k.

No more 2004 Cobras!
