Would i loose any low end if i were to take my Flow master mufflesrs out and put a piece of pipe there instead? I have the stock h pipe on still, I just want it louder. It's not a DD so being loud is not a big deal. If i were to do it I would still run the flow master tail pipes, tell me what you think, i'm not saying I'm going to do it I just want some input. Thanks

It will sound like GARBAGE, and you will lose power. Do this if you want loud: Throw on an o/r h-pipe or x-pipe, then cut off your tailpipes and throw on some turn-downs. It will be LOUD, but it will sound heavenly!

I would not run a "no muffler" set up. Don't think you would have loss of power, but it would sound terrible. Put an offroad h-pipe and some 18" dynomax race bullits on it. The bullits alone will give you more hp over the flowmasters. With the off-road pipe that combo will be loud and sound good. The bullits are not that expensive, and do not pop as much on deceleration.

I ran around without mufflers for a day to drive across town to get some things taken care of.
It sounded like ass. It was loud, but I did get a compliment from a guy in an '90 Camaro RS.
