Start building is the best advice I can give you. Maybe you need a tune-up Throw some gears in the vert and make it a whole different car

plugs, fuel filter. also might want to pay for a dyno and see if you are running too lean/rich. i doubt you need a tune with your mods but its possible. you could also be losing power from something else, or maybe you're not as good of a driver as you think (no offense)

If you think you are running lean or getting pulled timing, try higher octane gas. I think my car was running lean because it runs way better on 93 than 89 octane. Cut a 14.5 @ 95 from a 1500 launch on my first ever 1/4 run with the 93. (thats full weight with spare/jack and my amp/subs

You will need a speed cal, chip, programmer, or tune to fix your speedo after the gear install.Personally, I think you should skip the throttle body and driveshaft for now.Just my .02. Go with Steeda underdrives and maybe a shifter.

If you are havng a problem with the car, you should try to find it before piling mods on. seriously, do you think there is a problem with the car? Run it at the track or get a g meter to see how it is really running. If you are not at least in the mid 14's, then I would agree that there may be a problem.

don't feel bad about being beat by the S2000, since it weighs 600 lbs less than your car and is only down 20 hp.. (and your body kit is only making that weight difference worse)

12.99 lb/hp for Stang GT ragtop
11.70 lb/hp for S2000

now the Del Sol, not sure about that one, since I don't know what they have for power before the laughing gas..

a throttle body will only help if you get a plenum as well, get a shifter, the densecharger didnt do me any good I wouldnt do it again. Do a tuneup before buying mods, spark plugs, air filter, fuel filter, and see if it helps. Are you just getting beat or do you think there is something wrong with your car? I had an ignition coil go bad, my car was misfiring bad very noticeable.
