No Strut Tower Brace, OK?

Hey guys I am putting an Edelbrock performer intake on my car that I got from Steeda. I also ordered an new strut tower brace that would fit the new manifold. Unfortunately the brace that they sent me is for a 351 conversion, and will not fit under my stock hood. Being the weekend I can't get in contact with them until Monday to send this one back, and get the correct one. Is it going to mess anything up driving around without the strut tower brace until I can get the new one?

Do you guys know of/recommend a stb that will clear a TFS street intake and the stock hood?

I have the Maximum Motorsports STB. I am sure they are all basically the same but I went with MM because I liked their stuff.
