After my recent mods I decided to try a stoplight launch .The light turns green and I create a huge fog bank while a truck calmly pulled away next to me.I am sure he's thinking major conquest. Is there something I can do to improve traction?I have stock size 15" tires. The tires spin alot even from a rolling start.

READ "Mustang performance handbook TWO"

READ IT!
It'll answer alot of your suspension questions for drag racing/road racing/autoX/etc
Although the book is old it is still accurate (1995)

Well duh! Don't drop the clutch and mash the gas.......... :bang:

I certianly figured from my fog experience that step 1 is to ease into first just accelerating short of excessive wheel spin.I think what I am hearing from you guys is that upgrades to tires and suspension would allow me to raise that spin threshold at least somewhat.
