New Chevy SS's - how fast are they?

what does a '06 or '07 Silverado SS run for 1/4 mile times? do they have around 350 hp? I walked all over one the other day (at the track of course) from a roll, and i was expecting it to take me, or at least be closer than what it was....

friends got 05 silverade not ss, its got 8.1 496 with alision trans. it runs around 17s like every other pickup. from 0-50 its got balls but trucks are geared so high so low. there are alot of fast trucks out there but the horsepower to weight ratio blows.

Might have to get a Dart block but don't want to and if I do, then 363 instead of 331. Thoughts on what I've already bought so far.......
