Non OEM pads rattle with Cobra/Bullitt front brakes!

I tried number of different pads with my Bullitt front brake kit: Raybestos, Autozone, etc. All of them rattle WITH anti-rattle clips installed. It never rattled with FORD pads that came with the kit. I am tired of the noise and planning to get Ford OEM pads unless somebody can convince me that Hawk Street pads, or something else, have no rattle with my setup?

that is very odd.. especially if the rotors aren't warped, which they probably aren't. I'm getting EBC greenstuff pads for my kit which is identical to yours (once my pads die)

It is odd. But I just can't explain the rattle otherwise. Sizing of Aftermarket pads I used probably slightly off. I found some references that pointed to that by doing searches on Corral and stangnet archives.

I've got the Hawk pads and they rattle also. It's driving me nuts.
