i got my engine running in the past few weeks, started out the valve train was quiet as could be. sounded good. i have put a few dozen miles on it putting it around and noticed it stays fairly quiet on a cold start but starts to get some valvetrain chatter when things get warmed up. its nothing horrible but it is rather noticeable.

keep in mind i am running stud rockers
i set them to .020" preload.
is it normal to have to readjust the rocker arms, dont know if the locks have a tendency to back off when new or if the stuff "breaks in"

this is the first time i have actually run stud rockers on my car so i am just wondering, its no biggie to tear it down and do it, might even try a little more preload and set them to .030.

just getting some opinions
