NOS Advise, Help me Spray for Cheap!

I am no N2O expert but if you are worried about your intake the only true safe system is direct port. I would only spray a 75 dry shot, a 100 wet shot and 150 direct port. Wet shot is probably the best choice if you are worried about cost they run about $700 on average with no fuel upgrades needed. Dry shot is alittle less but you will need some fuel upgrades. Direct port runs about $1200 to $1400.

1. On a stock bottom end I wouldnt go above a 125 shot wet or dry. I would go with a wet shot.

2. There are a variety of kits out there with varying prices. I feel direct port is overkill on a stock bottom end as from I have seen engines start letting go at 150 which is right where puddling issues also start. NX, ZeX, NOS all make good kits.

3. No. Backfires from what I have seen are measured in how much restraint the user shows. Example: Nitrous burnouts are high risk.

4. Correct that is a window switch and is a very good idea.

5. Yes you can get multistage systems or you can get progressive nirtous controllers. Multi-stages use multiple 'pills' which vary the amount of spray. For example: None in first -> 50 in second -> 100 in third. Progressive controllers are measured in time and are fluid I beleive but you can read up on that.

6. I wouldnt go larger than 3.73's. Even with DR's I have to feather it off the launch. The instant TRQ is amazing and quite addictive.

7. For below a 125 shot I am not sure its completely necessary. I have dynoed mine 3 times and havnt seen it lean out yet even on a 1100psi pull. That being said you cant really be too safe and fuel pumps arent that expensive.

8. You need one step colder plugs. Always run premium fuel. Tune is a good idea however I am running stock timing and fuel with no issues. Maintain constant bottle pressure. GET IT DYNOED TO ENSURE PROPER A/F.

I would guess you will see ~525 TRQ. Which of course is the only number that matters.

A lot of people have recommended the MSD window switch. You can buy it at summit racing.

All you really need then would be.
1.MSD Digital window switch
2.NX Bottle heater
3.wide open throttle switch
4.Electric bottle opener (option)
5.Purge/blowdown
6.NGK TR6's (colder plugs)
7.Fuel pump (if you plan on spraying 100 shot or more) Walbro 255.
8.Dyno tune and a wideband dyno run to see where you are.
9.You can run up to 150hp shot on your stock bottom end.
10.Detonation will kill your engine the fastest!
