I have searched all the forums on this tech help, but i need some fresh thoughts and help, I have the usual 89gt, with minor bolt ons, headers, hpipe, msd wires, cap, rotor, msd 6a box, cold air fenderwell, short belt, no ac or smog, no gears yet, electric fan, so here is the tech question, I am buying a cold fusion dry kit, i know i can go as high as 100 shot, if i install heads, cam, intake, and or fuel pump. Can i just install and run like this with what i have now? i know upgrading will definetly help, but i plan on that later, i am just anxious to put this NOS on from what i have read, it should be enough that the stock motor and mods can handle, help me if you think its too much, or if i should wait and mod more. Thanks, i know there will be plenty of knowledge out there. :SNSign:

r u goin wet or dry kit?...either way does the engine have alot of miles? conditon ?? i would install the kit either way and run a 75 shot for now...just make sure you step down in plugs...read them..try to get a dyno see how the a/f is even if u read the plugs...also drop like 2* in timing you should be fine...dont go more then 100 if its dry...ur injectors if stock might not be able to compensate

You're good! I ran a dry 125 shot with just exhaust, AFPR, roller rockers, 255 in-tank, and 3.55's on my 92 for a long time. Car went mid 12.50's @ 107 on slicks with 10*'s of timing with no probs.
I'd suggest a bigger in-tank pump, AFPR, and 1 step colder plugs gapped between .035-.040 before spraying. An MSD box would help also.

By the way, what gear size should i go with, 373's will be too much? should i go with the 355's with this nos setup? and I do have the 6a msd box already.
and it will be a dry kit, no more than 125 shot, i will definetly go with 75 shot till the bigger mods are in. :SNSign:

gears will depend on your goal and what the car is for....mostly street or mostly track?? 3.73's are all around great gear will really wake the car up without sacraficing too much rpm for highway use...if its goona see more track time u should get 4.10's or consider 4.30's....im running 4.10s in my 347 right now and would not swap them for anything i see very very little highway use and mostly street use...on weekends primarily...its all about what the car is used for and what ur ultimate realistic goal is....yea i mean if its dry then try to at least get a bigger fuel pump at least 190....injectors if possible ur gonna have to change them anywayz once you egt the top end done....try to avoid buyin the same parts more then once...set ur goals then go for them

With the bigger fuel pump your stock 19's will be alright. Once you do H/C/I then I'd upgrade to 24's at least. I went from 30's back to 24's after H/C/I swap as the car ran better N/A with the smaller injectors. As far as gears, I saw little to no difference going from 3.55's to 3.73's. It's all up too you.
Like what lxwants12's said, set a goal for your ride!

Well the car will be mainly a daily driver, with an occasional trip to the track just to see where it stands, I see I have some work to do, just wanted to make sure I was on the right path, before I install the NOS kit, and mess something up, Tnanks!!!! :SNSign:

my buddies got 90LX running 65 jet and 36 jet ...supposedly is maxing the nozzle out on a NOS kit .....runs consistent 7.50s in the eight with a E cam ..and GT40 cast irons heads on stock bottom end with over 100K , it does have a 190lph pump in the tank and adjustable regulator , but we checked it on a wideband and stock fuel pressure is where it runs best ...
