Toying with the idea of spraying my engine with a 100 shot. I know I don't have the hood clearance to put in a power shot system which uses a 1/2" carb spacer for the spray bar. I was looking at the Top Shot system which is a clever set that mounts under the air cleaner and shoots down through the carb. What are the potential problems with this, if any. Would it matter much if the spray came from above or below the carb???

I kinda want it just for the wow factor, and the fact that I got SMOKED by a Mercedes SL 55 AMG V-8 Compressor last Saturday morning. With 100 extra ponies I know he would have surly been embarrassed in his 130K ride...freaking yuppies. The only thing the guy probably knows about cars is how to make the payment.

With the top shot system I worry about proper fuel atomization. But I think it'll work alright.

You could always go with a 1/2" drop base air cleaner. That way you can run a regular plate system and still have the clearance you need.

There is alot of force. But the second the nitrous hits the air, it boils and expands. It takes up alot more room. That's why foggers are nice. More HP for the same amount of nitrous use. You have a PM

Those AMG's are *very* fast... Do you know how many HP your setup is putting out? Looks like it should be pretty quick. Biggest thing working against you was probably 3spd vs about 5 or 6 that he would have had - alot more time spent in the power band.
