Got my ABC cobra r hood last week and im not to happy. the front edge isnt even at all and the under side is full of grinder marks. going to take a lot of sanding and mudding to get this thing perfected. I still havnt put it on the car to see how it lines up because i just got the fenders on. shouldve went cervanis i guess

I have a chance to buy a used hood pretty cheap (has a few scratches in the gel coat, but would need repainted anyway). I just don't know what brand it is. The underside is finished, but has no brand name. I'm skeered.

when i got my cervinis hood it needed prep, it wasnt perfect. i had a dip on the side on top and took awhile to get that straightened out. so dont feel bad.

abc here and no complaints--all it took was a little prep work, and i've done more than that on my car so i guess it wasn't a big deal to me.

yeah a little prep work doesnt bother me too much considering the extent of my project but it would be nice to just paint it and slap it on.
