Guess I can tell you then whats up with my Mazda3, if you care, since it's that dead in here anyway. I started to buy a few things. But I sure aint gonna go crazy like with the stang.

First thing I bought is a stubby antenna, like this one:
http://www.carccessory.com/images/photo/Stubby_Short_Antenna_/I.gif
Its like 3.5in long, instead of the oem 12-14in "whip".

Then I ordered a Magnaflow catback system and a AEM cai. Wasnt for power, but more for looks/sound. Car should sound like this:
http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v404/morespeed/Videos/?action=view&current=MagnaflowetAEMmpg.flv
You can tell it's not a 1.6L or something. Not the type of catback to annoy people 10 blocks away. I actually drove in a Mazda3 with the same catback and the sound was just perfect. Should have the stuff in 3weeks.

Then I ordered last week a flip-key remote/key thing. I like gadgets. Like this:
http://individual.utoronto.ca/cc_706/car/key03.jpg
http://individual.utoronto.ca/cc_706/car/key02.jpg

Should have it this week.

Then I also ordered some special link to my oem radio so I can plug in a IPOD and still use my steering wheel controls to change the songs and everything else. That also is pretty neat. Should have this in a week.

Now I actually have to buy a IPOD. Looking to get a IPOD Video 30gb. Waiting for a price from my buddy who has very good contacts in future shop.

And I also spotted those pedals today. They're amazing imo. I want them.

Other than that I wanted to paint my calipers red and have my wheels powder coated gun metal but no rush for that. I'll be done spending for a while.

Yeah it has been pretty dead in here for sure. My progress on the stang has hit a wall. I just tore my PCL Ligament in my knee and am out of commision for 3-4 weeks. At that time I see if I am going to need physio for recovery or not.

yeah we all got lives or something haha

I changed my clutch this weekend! Turns out half the disk turned into dust and / or broke off. Litteraly half the disk was GONE!

I put in a centerforce pressure plate and a king cobra disk, aluminum quadrant, firewall adjuster, heavy duty fork, etc...

Then I got in a huge fight with the gay catback, so I said said puck it and just put some red bullets and used turn downs right at the axle. So basically my exhaust system is shorty headers from flowtech, off-road X-pipe and two cherry bombs which turn down right at the diff. Sounds pretty mean and sets off A LOT of alarm systems lol

All over a game of soccer. Wish I had of slept in that morning like I wanted to and missed the game. Now Iget to walk with a limp and a huge ass leg brace. Going to be interesting once this comes off when I go to push in the clutch on the stang. I can just see it popping again.

I'm not joining the ricers dont worry.
I also cancelled the catback a few hours ago. I didnt feel like CUTTING mine anymore. Yes you read right. It a one piece after the header to the tip so you have to cut it on 99% of the aftermarket catbacks for this car. And the one that dont require the cutting (high flow cat of just o/r) sound way too ricy and way too loud for my taste. So screw it. I'm still getting the AEM cai. I'll get the IPOD instead of the catback I guess.

Yeah Mario, you're sort of like me and can't leave anything alone... Open a new savings account and everytime you have like 200 or 400 bucks that's burning a hole in your pocket and thinking about CAI, catbacks, etc... for the daily driver, put the cash in the account.

Then you'll have a nifty amount of cash for a Cobra Mustang

No.. there is no warrantly on it, because I rebuild it myself.. so..

And even worse.. it's my daily driver.. I'll try to buy another POS and let the stang alone for a while..

Oh and for the Knees story.. I'm going to play basket tonight.. Hope nothing is going to happen.. :S (knock on wood)

I installed my AEM cai a few days ago. Honestly sounds very good for a 4banger. Got my Ipod video 30gb and my adapter as well (myself). Also installed my wind deflector as well. Now I'm shopping for some winter wheels. Stock the GT comes with 17". You CANNOT fit some 15" on there because the brakes are too big. I'll have to run some 16" for the winter. I'm looking for some stock non-GT Mazda3 wheels which are 16". WHen I install those before winter, I'll take my 17" to the powdercoating shop (gun metal). Will look sweet.
