notch strut kit?

i seem to remember a strut kit for notch's (to replace the stock springs), but for the life of me i cant find them again i think it was in a muscle mustangs mag a while back. i have searched and come up with nothing any help would be appreciated.

If you are talking about the trunk supports, contact BOTTLFED on this board.

Do you want to get rid of stock coil springs, and go to a coil over kit? A coil over is when you get a spring that is around the upper part of the strut. If that is correct....www.50resto.com www.summitracing.com

I am a little confused here. He mentioned a notch. Coil springs do not differ from a notch to a hatch. Maybe I am just reading it wrong.

i am talking about the "springs" that open the trunk on a notch i saw a kit to get rid of the springs and replaced them with hyd. struts like on the hatchbacks have

I saw springs/struts and figured he needed suspension like you did too. I saw notch, but I just figured he was telling us his exact car.

i said notch b/c they are just metal rods that push up the trunk when i hit the electronic release (possibly on convertibles also ) for the trunk and i was wondering if any one knew the company that made the kit to retro fit a hyd strut to replace the metal rods.

Yeah I got ya now. Never seen that, but it would be sweet.
