notches rule lol pic

Groceries???

I was talking, slicks, skinnies, jack, jack stands, and a 4 drawer tool box, not to mention luggage for the weekends I spent out by the track. Would have needed a trailer with all the stuff the hatch has let me carry over the years. Countless car parts, and not to mention the other week what I did in the back, couldn't have seen me try that in a notch (we won't go into details exactly, but I am sure your imaginations can figure it out).

haha you got me on that one...

so basically the only benefit in owning a hatch from a notch is that u can shag in the back of a hatch. :nice:

but then the concern is... do hatches or notches attract more P*ssy?

I guess i'm alone on this one, but i don't see why you guys carry so much in your hatch anyways? I've carried slicks, a floor jack and my tool box to the track in my coupe (although i'll admit, one slick was in the back seat, but who cares?). Hell much more than that and my car is gonna bottom out anyways. Trunk space just wasn't a necessity that i had in mind when i decided i wanted a Mustang

This is fun!!

I have owned both. I owned a 92 GT in 2001. I was 18, and loved it...I HATED notchbacks....there were ugly!! BUUUTTTT......NOW...I built my black notch and LOVE it!! I still love hatches though! GT's preferably. I owned two white GT's previously....man those still have sweet spots in me!!!

you know i've wondered this myself and i've come to notice, coupes are REALLY popular INSIDE the stang community and to other car guys alike, but people OUTSIDE the mustang community and your everyday joe shmoe seem to like the "sporty" look of GT's. coupes are an aquired taste, that once you get a lick of, you fall in love with them. this is all my personal experience and what i've noticed, atleast.

I too was not a fan of notches when I was younger. I bought my LX because I liked the long swooping roofline and thought the GT was sporting a little too much plastic. I started to like the notchbacks after owning my car for quite awhile and eventually came across a wicked deal on one and bought it. I've totally changed my views on things over the years and i'm sure they'll continue to change in the future but I mean that's why Ford gave us 3 options when ordering a 5.0L

Not the only but it helps.... and I had the pu$$y before she saw the car! She just didn't want to wait to get to a bed... oh well!

The trunk wasnt the reason it's just a perk. I didnt buy a Mustang for gas mileage, yet get 26-27 highway, a NICE perk!
