notches rule lol pic

The very first time I tried to use the trunk on my notch I realized why they were so rare... But they're nice and different. Overall I have both and each has it's own positives and negatives.

Can i get a show of hands of how many people (coupe owners) have opened their trunk in the dead of winter to get something out, only to find that the shocks have failed and their trunk lid falls and smacks them in the back?

Nobody? :D

Eh who cares, trunks are for batteries and fuel cells :Zip2:
And while you're strapping your Drag Radials to your roof and trunk lid, the hatch guys are pointing and laughing all the way to the track with theirs nicely tucked away inside the car.....along with a cooler full of beer and snacks to boot. :D

None of the couple owners need to bother opening their trucks, since theirs not enough room to store anything in them anyway. ;)

Oh and as far as being hit in the head with the hatch.....broom stick handles FTW. :nice:

I'm really just teasin, although i'm not in any hurry to own another hatch. Once you own a coupe it really effects your love of them. No huge blind spot, less creeks, stiffer ride. But yeah sometimes i would like to carry more, but really the trunks aren't THAT small, i've had cars with much less space.

AMEN BROTHA!!!

I don't know why people complain about not being able to fit groceries in the back of the notch... i always shop at costco (bulk) and pack everything into the stang... you just have to know how to fit everything back there.

Groceries???

I was talking, slicks, skinnies, jack, jack stands, and a 4 drawer tool box, not to mention luggage for the weekends I spent out by the track. Would have needed a trailer with all the stuff the hatch has let me carry over the years. Countless car parts, and not to mention the other week what I did in the back, couldn't have seen me try that in a notch (we won't go into details exactly, but I am sure your imaginations can figure it out).
