I have svo heads and intake and am finally getting around to installing cams. I have done some research on Crower and Comp as they offer cams that will work with my heads and not have PTV problems. I am looking to get as much power as possible. My stang is a weekend/fun car so i wont have to deal with commuting or heavy traffic issues. What is everyones recommendations?

PS: I heard none of VT's cams will work on my car due to lift so no need to go into them unless they have a new offereing.

Thanks, Matt

I like the Crower NPI's...
I thought you could run a higher lift cam with the SVO's?

SVO heads are based off of the NPI head and have the same lift restrictions that NPI heads have. That said, I would likely go with the Stage 3 NPI Crower cam or the Comp 274 NPI cam for your car.

Well, looks like you will just have to select the correct set of gears to work with your cams.

Good luck, you have a fairly rare combo. Post back a thread letting us know how it goes!

I sure will. I'm really excited about the cams because i havent added a significant mod since the heads/intake. I've heard of big numbers coming from cams but can only imagine what it will be like going from my wimpy stock cams to the stage 3's. I will see if i can get a before and after dyno. That would be really interesting...

Thx,

matt
