Since the server went down, I don't believe this is still on the site. I will be performing a NPI Intake install Friday, and a how-to (pics would be great) is needed.

I know there used to be one, though I don't remember the site/link. Thanks for any helps guys!

Here's one that was from a guy with an NPI Crown Vic. Most applies (not the windshield cowl removal etc...) to 96-98 stang PI intake swap. Shout out if you need (over the internet) assistance.

And another excellent link from the other site.

Do I need EVERYTHING listed on the crown vic site?

How long did it take you to do your install?

What I am most worried about is getting everything looking like it does now, and not having wires everywhere

If I remember right, it took me 5-6 hours start to finish. I had gotten some radiator fluid down in the cylinder ports when I lifted off the intake so I had to get a wet/dry vac to get it all out, which was a pain. The PI intake swap does require some work though. I took the easiest way out and ordered the parts to make the swap easier i.e. coolant tube, altenator bracket and purchased a PI intake that was drilled out for the second sensor. You can do the swap a little cheaper by not getting those extra parts, but it will take you longer to do the install such as the stock altenator bracket can be modified by drilling out the proper hole locations etc, a flex coolant tube can be used and cut to length instead of the 99+ hardened version.
I also changed the waterpump nipple, but found that mine and all '98s that I've seen have already had been upgraded to the newer version that connects to the new coolant tube with no modifications.
Don't worry, when your done, it looks stock and wires aren't everywhere.

Here is my engine bay immediately after the install. I have since routed the drivers side plug wires over the thermostat for an even cleaner look.
