Im thinking about a NX stage 1 EFI 100 shot system with one 10lb bottle, a nitrous pressure and fuel pressure gauge, a bottle heater, a purge kit, a window switch, and a wot switch. Can anyone give me any kind of advice about these systems, any before and after dyno, or any personal experience? Thanks a lot.

My friend runs a Zex dry kit in his Prelude. His Prelude on the gas is as fast as my car is, basically. I think the gigle gas is great. You are missing some things off your list, tho.

I think you need spark plugs that are a step or two colder and you will need to cancel the timing advance that your Diablo Predator gives you.

You need these things to safely run a 100 shot. You might even want to retard your timing from stock with a chip or Steeda Timing Adjuster, but I don't think you absolutely need to untill you go higher than a 100 shot.

Sounds great man, I cant wait to see how much power you are going to be making. The only thing im wondering is what you are going to do about the tune/predator thing. Just make sure you save a little extra money so you can get it tuned when you install it. The only thing is what are you going to need the predator for if you get the tune. You could just get a flip chip installed with a setting for the spray and one for n/a. Dunno, you'll have to figure it out....oh yea, ill give ya 50 bucks for the predator lol. Just messin, good luck. Keep us updated on it.

The predator allows +/- 10% timing adjustment. Couldn't he just us the predator to cut back the timing?

Yes he could, but if he has to get a tune for it anyway, wouldnt he just get everything the way he likes it there and really have no use for the predator anyway?

Yes, Ill be getting spark plugs and a dyno tune after the install. Dont expect the kit any time soon, Ive still got a couple more mods on my list. Steeda aluminum lca's, MM sub frames, and an 03 cobra spoiler which I should have by next week.

The Diablo Pred. can be used to change the timing +/- 10%. This does not mean that you can go from say 14% advance to 4% or all the way to 24%. It only means that you can advance or retard your timing 10% of the net advance from stock tune. This means that if you are at 14%, you can change it as much as .4% ONLY. This is not nearly enough to retard an already advanced timing for nitrous.

Keep in mind that I am not 100% about this. I read this info in an old tech article and it stuck in my head. Can anyone verify this?

OK, let me try again. When you get a Diablo, the tune is advanced right? Stock tune is 10% and most "mail order tunes" set it at 14%. So your total advance over stock is 4%. When the diablo gives you control to change by 10%, they mean 10% of the 4% advance NOT 10% of total timing. So in other words, you can change your timing by only +/- .4% of the total timing. It's a very small adjustment.

I think the way you are typing it may be causing the confusion. Do you mean 4 DEGREES by typing 4%? Or what? Thats what is causing me to be confused. Use an * for degrees

I think what he is saying is that if your tune has 10* of timing, the Predator can only adjust to 10.4* or 9.6* and not higher or lower.

That doesnt seem right at all. Stock timing is 10* so when you raise it by 1% with the predator you raise it to 11* and vise versa. %, * same thing.
