listen guys....i know that theres a lotta exhaust threads on here and ive been to mustangexhaust.com countless times but i need some opinions here.....i have the stock headers which i plan to leave for the time being, and i have an american thunder catback....i have 2 questions....do u think that the o/r x is close to the loudness of an o/r h, and does anyone here run flowmasters w/ and o/r x pipe and like the tone...cause im sorta leanin towards it a little bit and i want a few other suggestions.....hp is not really a huge concern considering its maybe a 2-3 hp difference....thx for puttin up with yet another few exhaust questions.... :nice:

I'm running a Bassani o/r X and quiet thunder catback. Under normal situations, my setup is quieter than most. Generally speaking, an X pipe will be quieter than an H-pipe. My setup is louder however at WOT (at least according to other folks).

It's funny, my catted x-pipe is easily as loud as my old off road h-pipe was. At least outside the car. Inside, it's a bit quieter. If anything, it's louder than the h-pipe at higher rpm, more of a scream than the flat h-pipe tone.
