O2 Sensor Extensions don't fit!

I bought some O2 sensor extensions from American Muscle a few weeks ago and finally got around to plugging them in only to find out that the connectors are different. I have an '03 GT and the package says it fits '96 - '04. WTF? Has anyone else run into this problem? I sent them an e-mail and included this illustration of the problem!

Thats how mine where, that I got with my Kooks. I dont remember all the details, but I know I had to file off one of the locater keys to make them work.

Yea, there was an instruction that some connector tabs may have to be removed to plug them in on certain years. On my 04 I didn't have to break off the locating tab to plug them in though.

you just have to shave some plastic to make it work.

Thanks Guys! I just got an e-mail from AM and they told me that after 2002 Ford changed the tab locations on their connectors so just go ahead and grind off the tabs.
