Hey
I wish I had a working camera so I could post a picture of this. My 95gt has a little red/orange button on the dash right next to the big button for the rear defrost. It sticks out of the dash just a little bit, and is round and semi-transparent. As far as I can tell, it doesn't do anything. Turning on the defrosters doesn't make it glow, and nothing particular happens if I push it. Does anyone else have one like this? I'm guessing it might be something that a previous owner put in for god-only-knows-what reason. But I thought I'd give it a try and maybe someone else has seen this?

Does it look stock or does it look like a diy'er (do it yourself). My car or any mustang I have seen has anything like that. Sometimes it the person had a amp, they put a button to turn it off and on. But if it is not a toggle switch just a push button. Possibly the person had nitrous on the car. More than likely it would be to purge it, because I don't know how you would keep your finger on it and drive at the same time =) if you know what I mean.

Sorry accidently pushed enter instead of space =) Also if your car had foglights put on it (not stock). What I would do is see where the wires go to. That would tell you.
