Oddly Heavy or No

When I had my car weighed at the track with half a tank of gas she was 3150 for a notchback is this heavy. I thought maybe the carb coversion without AC and an Smog pump would lighten her a bit. Now I am thinking that the all wheel disk and the wheels maybe adding weight.

it maybe a little on the heavy side. you have a big stereo in the car? my car which is a hatch with a 8 point roll bar and fiber glass doors hatch and hood wieghs just shy of 3000lbs. So maybe you are just about right.

My 88 GT was 3200 with 3/4 tank of gas nothing removed and other junk layin in the back seat and hatch area...I have factory A/C delete and no power locks or windows.

well those numbers stated above sound awful light...maybe no driver.

my '89 notch w/ manual options, ac /smog delete was 3250, 1/4 tank and me in it (i'm 140)

my '90 lx 'vert aod was 3450 w/ 1/2 tank and no one in it , power options and no deletions

you sound right on the money to me.

i have an 87 notch w/ power NOTHING (windows, seats, notta) and it weights just shy of 3000. sounds about right to me
