OE tires for 99 Cobra

I am considering trading my 02 GT on a Cobra. I drove a 99 the other night and the odometer read 31000. The car felt, well, like it had more miles than that, the shifter was pretty rubbery and I think the transmission felt a little odd. What tires do they come with from Ford? This car had BF Goodrich tires, are they OE? If theyre not OE then this car is on its second set of tires and more than likely has more miles than the odometer reads, right?

My stock tires were BFG Comp T/As (245/40/17 I think).....I can't believe they are the original set, since I replaced mine at 16-18K. Can't recall exactly, so I went through two sets of BFGs by 32-36K miles. So the mileage might be OK.

A conservative driver can stretch out the mileage on the factory set of BF Goodrich Comp T/As 245/45/17 that came on the 99/01 snakes. I hit about 27K miles before I had a flat tire (nail on freeway = bad!) on them.
I seriously doubt the odometer has been tinkered with, unless the car shows obvious wear & tear, then the mileage should be accurately reflected on the odometer -know what I mean?

some people do drive Cobra without burning them every chance they get like most of us do ya know :D

Added koni shocks and Eibach Pro Kit 2000 Cobra R springs, bushinged the rear end to the max. She corners so sweet, I guess I left a ton of BFG rubber on the twisties. Can't resist. I have also gone through a set of 4 KDWS, on my second set of NITTOs for the rear, and have a worn down set of BFG DRs.

Cobra loves to eat MEAT!!
