Official Halloween Thread. What Are You Doing To Prepare?

Our house in TN was rural so we never had any Trick-or-Treaters. It will be interesting to see what goes on here, although we live on a Cul de sac. With no thru traffic we rarely see any cars other than our immediate neighbors and delivery/service vehicles.

Yeah, my house is on a Cul de sac as well. However there is on child that is "special needs" and it is a joy to watch his face light up every year when he trick-or-treats at our house and he gets half a bag of snickers dumped into his bucket. :nice:

I did manage to discover my first limitation today as well. There are only 3.7 Billion-ish IP addresses available under IPV4. So I will have to keep the number of devices below that.

Time to replace all the expired items in my Zombie Apocolypse kit. LOL

Seriously, we go to mom-in-law's front porch on the route between the town's two block parties and the university...always good for costume (or lack thereof) viewing.

One more. This is as far as I get tonight. I've got more cheese cloth and a few other items on the way to finish this up.

This will make one of the 5 characters I'm creating for the scene. This is the largest of the 5. 3 of the characters will be animatronic (motion). This guy is just electronic... and PVC.

Lots of rain this weekend so I'm inside working on the Graveyard pillars:

Still have to add sound to each pillar, more black lights, power strips, fog machine, then paint it all up to look like stone.

The side that you are seeing is the side that faces away from people looking at the scene. They'll be positioned 8 to 10 feet apart. The one without the scarecrow on it, will be 8 feet high while the one will the scarecrow will look like a partially crumbled pillar.
