Should be some good fights.

I thought it was really interesting to know that Carwin has never been out of the first round and all 11 victories have been by KO. Mir is liable to suffer the same fate and get KTFO'd

Hardy is going to get dominated by GSP, like everyone else does at 170

I LOVED the Carwin fight....but still think Brock will be to much for SC.

As far as the GSP fight, you're right Doc. I actually fell asleep in the 4th round....lol. (early mornings lately). Was still a good PPV though.

Yeah we got bored with GSP too.

Logistically he fought a perfect fight. It was the smart thing to keep it on the ground. Not much fun to watch, but duking it out with Hardy would not have been smart.

I was a bit disappointed that Hardy wasn't better prepared for it though. Any half wit would have known GSP was going to attack your weak point.

I'm guessing Hardy is hurting bad on those arms though! I give him credit....he's tough. I think he would have let his arm snap in half before ever tapping though.


Did anyone else think the Mir fight lasted longer than it should have. I really expected a ref stop after the first set of punches.....guess the ref let it go since it was such a big fight. Most fights I've seen, it would have been stopped earlier. Mir just had a look on his face like "WTF just happened to me?" "Mommy??"

Yeah, I was surprised the ref let it last that long. I also thought the sneer on Lesnar's face was comical. Man, those two really don't like each other...

Yeah, Lesnar doesn't like anyone. He's got some great power....but I think he's too cocky for his own good. His attitude is just ****ty these days. I really wanna see someone knock him out.

I was surprised to see Mir go down the way he did. Good fight nonetheless.

Seeing GSP fight was good enough for me. It was good to see his developed ground game which I think he's really stepped up alot but I was really lookin' for a ko. I enjoy GSP fights when he's on his feet.

I caught a video on Sports center where they asked Brock about the comments Mir had made about wanting to kill him and the interim title. He was very polite and very gracious about the comments made. He wasn't the cocky asshat that he is when he's in the cage or a lot of other place.

I think the thing we need to remember about Brock is he came from WWE. He used to be a pro wrestler. The man knows how to play the "heel" He knows the more people hate him, the more people are gonna buy that PPV's to see him get his ass kicked.

Carwin is definitely a heavy hitter. Should be interesting seeing him and Brock go at it.

With all of Mir's talk lately I wouldn't be surprised to see news of his suicide soon

I was gonna watch it but stupid yahoo posted the result on its front page before the event even started, the fights took place in duibi india, 12 hours before the actual ppv event.

I watched them.

Huges vs. Gracie was a pretty good fight.....in the 3rd round.

Bj vs. Edgar wasn't too bad. BJ deserved to loose his belt after that fight. I heard something about someone saying his knee was hurt. After knowing he lost the first three or four rounds I don't understand why he wouldn't have at least tried to take him down and submit him.

Silva vs. Mia was great the first two rounds. Watching Anderson clown Mia was amusing, but it got old and frustrating knowing that he could have finished the fight at any time. When he fights at 205 he dominates........goes back to 185 and he won't even fight the guys and always has some kind of excuse.

Yeah, we set up my LCD down in the garage and had a redneck viewing party with a fire going in the driveway.

I was so drunk though, I don't really remember the fights very well.

I thought the Shogun fight was great. Nothing against Machida, but I like Rua better.

I think the Rampage/Rashad one is going to be $$ also. My money is on Rashad...
