Well im putting new header gasket, and also doing the Tweecer again. The battery was of. So i just took the Computer of and went to my room and cleaned it. I also installed a new ignition control module. The headers are of at the time. So i pluged the computer back in, and the tweecer. Then the batery. Then i put the car on the on positoin with engine of.

The fan stays on, and the fule pump keeps priming. Why is it doing that? is it normal after taknig of the computer or puting in a new igniton control module???? Im scared, gopefully i didn't frie the Tweecer and the computer!!!!!!!!!!!!

if I'm not mistaken, that happens when the data for ur tweecer file is corrupt. Just reflash that setting (or settings) with a new file.

I learned first hand that it's very important to save ur data for ur tunes

Since it is new .................

I'd read the pcm first.

Then load it to all 4 positions.

You have no idea what is on them at this time.

You might also have an issue of the pins on the service port and Tweecer not making good electrical connection due to the coating on the pins.

like grady posted, it could also still be the j3 port pins. It took me 3 times to get it cleaned up. The last time I went NUTS on it with a Q-tip of paint reducer, and paper towels along with an eraser to gently buff off the computer protection goo off the metal pins.

when I have this probelm it is because the connection is not good. If you read eec and get like crazy numbers then it probably is not a clean connection like said above. I have to put cardboard on one side between the computer and tweecer with mine

I did the cardboard as well, it fits soo much more square and level to the eec with that in place.

if the fan or FP is not running non-stop then its prob. fixed. The fan/FP is like a dummy light deal IMHO used to be a fail safe to know if the eec is not working properly.

Go for a drive around the block.

If the ignition is off, and you are hooked up with the laptop, the FP will run at all times. You need to have the ignition in the on position.

Sounds like you got it. Take it for a drive in that position.
