damn Andy whats taking so long? Get back out there and finish painting it... Your public awaits! :D

Looking good so far. Are you getting new weather stripping for the car or just going to throw the old stuff back on for the window moldings? Also... how did you get thoes things off!?!? Does the long skinny part (a pillar?) come off first before the back piece can come off?

Takes time for sure...its coming out so nice, I'm not rushing it...not at this point...

All my rubber are in good shape...nothing needs replacing....Those pillars come off in the front by one bolt inside the door down bottom...pull straight up and that front pc just pops outta clips...the back, you have to remove some weather stripping and the interior panels...undo 5 nuts and the back off...the interlock in the middle...I didnt want a Red masking line, so we removed em...makes masking much easier,,and no paint to crack later on...its a pain removing all the stuff...but well worth it...
Some dude was telling me of a 450.00 Macco paint job...??? must wash it, mask it and shoot... :D

Yes, It can get that way around here...it was 94 in there yesterday....we had to switch to a higher temp reducer...the clear was drying instantly before that..It makes a dif in the way the clear "lays"....you tend to get more peel if it drys to quick...which means more wetsanding to flatten it out before you buff it...

you're talking about taking awhile? How are those twins comin? :p

anyway, that's coming out real nice, I wouldn't rush it either. I can't imagine you painting your car too many times so you might as well do it right! Nice little garage setup you got there too.
