Springboro Ohio
Looks like we'll be moving back to good ol' Dayton Ohio in the spring :spot: . Anyone on the board from that area? Being on the west coast (sort of) has been fun from a Saleen perspective (especially convertible!). I bought the car here in Arizona and went to the Saleen Show back in September. This allowed me to have my car signed by Steve and Liz, so that was cool. Now I'm going to go back and see what kind of Saleen/Mustang activities there are back there...

Hey hows it going? Can't help you on Saleen folks, but I am up near Lima with my Roush and Mach 1.

There is a nice spring and fall all Ford swap meet in Columbus every year you might want to attend. Over in Indiana near Ft Wayne I believe they hold a Saleen only Mustang show in the fall of the year, I think the town is Markle, Indiana. :)

Sal,

Look to catch up with Charlie, the SCOA Central Region Director.

There are lots of things to do in the Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky... area.

The 2005 SCOA National Show is going to be in Indiana, not too far of a drive. Come meet lots of Saleen owners :) August, 2005.

To give you an estimated turnout, at this years SCOA Saleen Fest Midwest (in IN) there were 22+ Saleens, and at this years SCOA National Show turnout was 48 Saleens.

See you at the National Show :)

Cool, I'll have to do that. I was hoping that there were some things going on in the area. It is bad enough that I'm going to have to store the car for the winter now. Oh well, that will be an excellent time for performing modifications. The goal will be to never bring the car out in the Spring the same way it went in for the fall. I'm sure my wife will love that!

Considering we're moving, I'm glad we made it to the Annual Saleen show this year! It was a lot of fun. Plus I got Steve and Liz to sign the car for me. Not sure when/where I'd see them once back in Ohio to have it autographed.

As far as more to do, that would be cool. You guys in CA do some schtuff, but there isn't a lot going on here in AZ. As a matter of fact, I couldn't get a MustangLife chapter started here. That was odd to me considering the amount of Saleen's and other stangs I see around. Hopefully, as Sizleen states, Buckeye stangs has some get togethers that I can participate in. The only bad part is the winter storage. I like the year round weather here in AZ...
