ohio state's Unstoppable

I also believe it would've been 3rd down, they would've had another shot. So who knows.

Jarvis Moss is your typical jock. Talk smack without really talkin' smack. The SEC isn't all what's cracked up to be. OSU is the better team. Judging by this, Florida is going to raggin' on us for a long time.

:nono: 'Til we meet again Florida!

Give me a break... Is it lost on everyone that if they had NOT given Florida that "free" touchdown, they would have had the ball on the 6 inch line, with an offensive line that was flattening Ohio's D-line like frogs on a rainy road?

Quit with the "IF" pouty-party.

"IF" the refs had their glasses on from the get-go, Ginn's touchdown would have been called back due to that obvious jersey-tug on Nelson.

"IF" your "momentum" notion was worth its weight, didn't Ohio State have momentum in spades following that Ginn run-back?

And lastly, "IF" your team is championship caliber, shouldn't you be able to suck it up and push the momentum back to your favor?

Momentum is nothing more than who's playing the best at a given time... Ohio State had about 14 seconds worth of it. It's nobody's fault but theirs that they never got any more of it...

Ohio State already got humiliated on the field, don't humiliate them further on the internet with crying about refs and momentum. They were held to what, 84 yards of total offense?? Hell, take a half dozen of your "ifs", and another half dozen favorable ref calls, and tack them onto your 84 yards, and tell me if that would have turned the game into a win for Ohio State... It wasn't close, on the lines, or in the secondary. Not close. No calls, momentum, nothing could tilt those scales enough to change that...

i wasnt crying? im glad they (florida) shut everyone up and kicked OSU all over the field all night long. hell it shut me up cause i bought into the hype and thought OSU would kick Florida all over the field

Now in all fairness... OSU is the better team on any given Saturday. They were caught off guard last night by a second rate team ( and that's giving credit ). Their players come on ESPN talkin' how the SEC has plenty of teams to beat OSU. That's a smack in the face of every team OSU has played. It shats on the Big Ten. If Florida is such the badass team... why were they #2? Why not #1? Then I could understand why Florida has braggin' rights to their victory. But all in all, they weren't the best and aren't the best. Perhaps they played 1 game better than another team. In my opinion.... 1 game doesn't make you a champion, a season makes you a champion. OSU had the better season BY FAR and anyone who can't admit to that is either blind or stupid. Do the math, OSU is the real champions.:nonono:

Oh and as of right now, 10:35am on 1/9/07 , the BCS still ranks OSU as #1 courtesy of ESPN.com.

Who's to say who's schedule is harder? It's all measured on the skill of the team playing. A schedule isn't hard if the team is up to par. OSU? Easy schedule by any means. Florida? Sure, let's go with hard schedule... just shows they can barely handle their conference.

Just my opinionm, guys, just my opinion.

Good Lord... :rlaugh: :rlaugh: you're joking, right?? Caught off guard?? So, according to you, the supposed best team in the country can be "caught off gaurd" by a "second rate team" and get mowed 41-14... The Gators just sneaked up on them and said "boo", and startled 'em for four friggin pathetic quarters..

Find me one, just one, online column or article by an employed sports journalist that supports your nonsense, your pathalogical denial, and I'll give you a pass... Otherwise, you're insulting the intelligence of mole crickets...

Also, I can think of no more acceptable podium to talk smack from than that of National Champion.... You proved it on the field, so all the armchair doughboy never-donned-a-helmet whiners deserve to wear a bit of smack pie in the face.

Nonetheless, I wish he hadn't of said that.. Not necessary, it was fairly obvious that Ohio State was overmatched, underprepared, and yep, over-rated... Look what USC did to Michigan why don't you?

BTW, I'm an Ohio native, and a former Michigan resident, should I be accused of blind fanatical favoritism!! :flag: :p

Its the National Championship game. Bring it. Florida did. OSU didn't. Plain and simple. There is really no excuse for it. Last night Florida was the better team. Thats it. Who would win if they played next Monday? Who's to say. But you only get one shot and they blew it.

Who had the harder schedule and was the better team goin into it really doesn't matter now? But according to the BCS OSU did. Thats why they were ranked #1 - all year. If they didn't have the tougher schedule and wasn't "the better team" why were they there. You could then throw the argument in that Boise State should have been in the title game. They were undefeated. Or the other 1 loss teams like Louisville (didn't the Big East win all of their bowl games) or Wisconsin.

The BCS is flawed. The components are there. It measures tons of aspects of every team to get rankings and the point system. For now we have to just deal with it. The idea is there.

The BSC standings are released on Sundays. So OSU will be #1 until this coming Sunday. Then Florida will be #1.

The BCS system is always flawed, until your favorite team wins it, isn't that always how it seems to work?? LOL!!!!

Nobody's been more vocal about wanting a play-off system than Florida though... Supposedly there's a deal in the "works"

Now let's talk about the guys at the track who run 14's, "but my car usually runs high 12's, it's just an off-night, my fuel pump is shot, somebody oiled the launch pad, I must've gotten some bad gas, I forgot my MSD chip, ..... but I smoke C6 Z06's on a regular basis on the street, my car's just not fast at the track, and it's a full moon, and high tide, and I forgot to kill a chicken before I came..."
