Oil In intake and intake tube. Motor is N/A

Intake is a PERFORMER 5.0 RPM II and I have problem here. I have oil comeing throw the intake and is now dripping out the power pipe. Pcv line is dry and I do not have the tube from the T.B. to the oil pan hooked up. Does anyone have an idea of why this is happeing or how to fix it. The motor is N/A.

You should put a oil catch can on your PCV line to see if that corrects the problem. Most aftermarket intakes don't come with a baffle to cover the PCV opening and prevent oil from getting sucked up.

I just fixed a similar problem.

I had a vac leak on the lower intake gasket common to the lifter valley. When I put on the lower intake the gasket slipped down, and there was no seal between the intake runners and the lifter valley. If this is your problem you should be able to disconnect the pcv hose from the upper intake manifold, and feel a vac when the engine is running. Be sure to plug the vac leak left by disconnecting the pcv hose from the upper intake, and leave the pcv valve in the lower intake.

If air is coming out of the pcv tube, then the problem is likely elsewhere.
