oh sorry, I thought you were talking about the pcv screen. The baffle is what goes under it to keep oil from getting sucked up...it's pretty much just a seperator.

If I'm not mistaken, if u are gonna do breathers then U'd have one in the valve cover and one in the pcv area....someone correct me if I'm wrong on this.

nah im not doing the breathers

So the baffle is not the screen?

nope. If u look at ur lower intake in the very back U'll see ur pcv valve. Under that valve u'll see a metal screen. That screen is..well..the screen (also known as a filter). Under the screen is where the baffle is/should be.

i should be able to see it with a light right? Seems really low i wont get it confised with the block?

Wait wouldn't the screen fall tru without the baffle?

you shouldn't get it confused with the block. Just feel around. If ur finger goes in about 1/4 to 1/2 (might be a tad bit more)of an inch in and stops then I'd say you have a baffle on there.

and using a flashlight I'd say you should be able to ID it...I've never looked at it with the intake on the block though.

I love the picture of the baffle.. that's exactly what it looks like. Pretty dang small. Now compare it to the one on the stock lower intake. The stock one stretches about halfway down the length of the lower intake. Now it's evident where the oil is being sucked through at.

Well i fixed the oil in my intake problem. I bought a S/C Thunderbird PVC, new Ford Grommet, and screen. I also bought a oil catch thats a liter big, and installed between the Pcv and intake. The can is located berween the Battery and the fuse box, you cant really see it unless you look closely. I also installed a baffle on the V/C. Guero style!!!lol. Since i had bought a PVC and screen from Ford while i waited for the Thunderbird one. I broke the part that holds the screen together an installed it in the hole, then with the grommet from the PCV, I shaved of alot of it to fit in my V/C hole. then i intalled the PCV on it. Since I had an Air compressor oil catch on the PCV from the lower intake I installed it between the CAI and T/B while i was at it. everything fit good air passes and all. Now i did this like a couple of days ago. and as of now theres no oil in both my cans!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Great news for me!!!
