i noticed a burning oil smell while driving and upon inspection it was on the valve cover, mainly in the PCV area. Then we (me and dad) noticed that the sall ruber hose leading from the PCV to the hard plastic that hooks to the throttle body was almost totally collapsed. Does this mean the PCV is bad? Also, while unplugged, if you hold your finger over the PCV valve, the idle does not change.

PCV is stupid, heh. Well, at least when boosted. I deleted mine, so far just ran a tube down towards the ground in the front - gonna make a catch can and hide it somewhere when I start my build up.

wrong one! crap. no body in town has one of these! the tube is cracked allover from dry rot. i wenttothe local dealer to find the part, they dont even ave the PCV. has 2 options, a smooth based one you just push in, nd a screw in (type i need) but it is heated which mine is not. they cant fid the hose to save their life!
