I just had my engine oil tested for the 1st time.
This was the response:
Copper was above average in the first sample from your Mustang, but we think it's probably
normal. Copper is often the last metal to come down in a new engine, due to the way bronze parts are
made. If copper doesn't improve next time, we'll let you know. All other metals look good. The oil was in
good shape physically, containing no moisture, fuel, or coolant. The air and oil filters (silicon and
insolubles) are working well too. The TBN read 5.0, plenty of active additive remaining. A reading of 1.0 or
lower is too low. Try 6000 miles next time. Nice engine!
