Ok Fellas, need some ignition help

If you bought a chain store TFI module, take it back, they are garbage. Sometimes they are DOA, and other times they last 2 months.
In this situation, you MUST use one from ford. Seen it dozens of times at my friends shop.

yea i bought it from autozone..

you think it could be bad? maybe ill pick up a ford one tomorrow and if its still dead ill return the ford one..

Ok well i put a stock coil in thanks to FBD and nada.. Still dead.. I have 12v on the red wire and 12v on the other wire. no pulsing from the light when i test it and im starting the car. I did number 1 on the checklist and i have 0 spark from the coil. I replace the TFI sensor with an autozone unit. Could it be the PIP sensor??? im going to downs ford tomorrow to talk to the tech guy behind the parts counter and buy ANOTHER TFI sensor and whatever else he suggests..... Cause im dead in the water, and I definatly have a bad taste in my mouth after this expirence :nice:

Go back to the checklist - see item 1 D & 5 A. When you jump around and skip steps, you end up missing important clues that can help you find and fix the problem.

I didn't think it was the pip sensor because you can smell the raw fuel as I attempt to start the car. I will go in the morning and try to find this light to test it tho. otherwise ill just replace it  Thank you for all the help.. this is a demon thats killing me :(

OK... borrowed a NOID light from my mechanic friend... had NO noid.... replaced the pip sensor (well just brought in the dizzy and replaced with a remanufactured unit) FIRED RIGHT UP!!!! thanks so much guys :nice: :nice: :nice:
