OK...got my MM LCA's installed but have a question...

Ever since I washed the car last night (it did it before then too..but not as bad), there is a creaking (popping every once and awhile as well) from the rear of the car that I know is the LCA's. I just don't know if I should lube the bushings (I used both packets entirely on the install) or if its something binding at the top. I used the torque wrench but it never clicked or felt like I reached the lb-ft I was supposed to reach so I left it as tight as I could get it. Has anyone greased their MM LCA's with a grease gun? What kind of grease would I use? Does it use a standard size for the fitting? It looks like it has a provision for it, but I don't know if that would help me. Thanks!

Helty...I have the Poly on on the chassis end and spherical bearings on the axle end. Benny...when I tightened the upper bolts I jacked the axle up and put it on stands right when it started to lift the rear end of the car off of the jack stands I had holding the car up thinking that would load the rear enough. Maybe it didn't. Thank you for the grease suggestion!.
